Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing mammography radiographic procedures to detect abnormalities and make diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography radiographic exams on patients, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Perform quality assurance on mammography equipment and assist with accreditation processes
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or approved program in mammography technology
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
  • Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M)
  • One year of experience in mammography or related field
