The Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research faculty, you will be responsible for coordinating, designing, and carrying out cancer research projects while adhering to standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead responsibility for entire research projects or programs, overseeing the preparation of complete documentation of research activities.
- Ensure the appropriate analysis, interpretation, and documentation of research findings, as well as the preparation of scientific documents and manuscripts for publication.
- Plan and supervise the training of new lab members in proper laboratory techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
- PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- This is a fiscal year-based position with a full-time commitment.
- Salary and compensation are commensurate with education, experience, and achievements.
