Medical Director for Thoracic Oncology Research

We are seeking a seasoned Medical Director to lead our research efforts in thoracic oncology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advance our understanding of this complex disease.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology research, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field. You will be expected to conduct high-level discussions with external stakeholders, including scientists, clinicians, and industry leaders.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing research plans to advance our understanding of thoracic malignancies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research initiatives
- Conducting peer-to-peer scientific discussions with external stakeholders to ensure access to company-approved medical and scientific information
- Maintaining current knowledge and comprehension of dynamic scientific and clinical environments in the Company's Areas of Interest (AOI)
Preferred candidates will have experience in thoracic malignancies and a strong record of scientific/medical publication. In addition, they will possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills, as well as a thorough comprehension of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
This is a remote position that requires up to 50% travel with some overnight stays. The salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
