Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management to the Labor and Delivery and Postpartum departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Recruit, select, and develop high-performing nursing staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving financial targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve patient care and organizational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current, active State of Florida RN license or endorsement.
- Minimum two years of acute care clinical experience, with progressive leadership or nursing management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of TJC, Florida Nurse Practice Act, and other applicable agency regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
