About the Role

Dentsply Sirona, a leading manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Quality Control: Safely assemble finished products using components, sub-assemblies, fasteners, and packaging material, following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Check and maintain accurate inventory of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners to complete production orders.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ability to safely operate power and hand tools to complete assigned tasks, as well as operate controls and safety stops on machines.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all Company safety policies, rules, and procedures at all times; maintain a strong safety mindset and always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for work being performed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurate completion of all documentation and production reporting following Company and Quality guidelines.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work and communicate in a team environment and/or independently as needed to achieve successful production and quality goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Previous manufacturing experience preferred; can assemble, test, calibrate where applicable 50% or better of all products within respective cost center.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), e-mail and Internet a plus; strong communication skills - written and verbal; interpersonal skills to include customer-focused orientation with both internal and external customers.
