About This Role

The Assistant Project Manager will provide critical support to the Project Manager, assisting with project tasks, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring timely completion. This role requires a strong understanding of project management systems, including Primavera 6, and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project schedules and reviewing deliverables
  • Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
  • Work with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work
  • Support the Health and Safety Manager in developing and implementing project-specific safety plans
  • Assist with project schedule and prepare monthly project review reports
  • Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables
  • Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages
  • Monitor progress of overall design, procurement, and construction of the project
  • Facilitate project close-out and warranty administration
  • Perform post-construction cost review and reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field
  • Experience on DB/EPC projects in the power delivery industry
  • Proficient in handling multiple projects and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
  • Proficient knowledge of project management systems, including Primavera 6
  • Familiar with technology and proficient computer skills
  • Management and supervision skills
  • High sense of integrity and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
