Job Summary:

PharmScript, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Medication Preparation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing finished prescriptions and performing light warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in sorting medications and ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Check racks and bins for missing medications before each delivery departure.
  • Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
  • Assist with pharmacy floor support during downtime.
  • Ensure all medications are scanned into the computer system and staged correctly for delivery.
  • Sort and pack medications as required inside totes.
  • Attach necessary packaging documents to each tote before handing it to delivery personnel.
  • Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Prepare delivery manifests, packing slips, and ancillary paperwork.
  • Retrieve final reviewed medication baskets and carts from RPh final review stations.
  • Scan medications pending for delivery using Frameworks.
  • Scan manifests into the system for confirmation of delivery.
  • Sort baskets and carts of final reviewed medications according to facility units, location, and delivery times.
  • Sort medications by route.
  • Tote and bag medications for delivery.
