NO PRIOR PHARMACY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are looking for someone who has consistent customer service experience, preferably in a retail setting. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required to be considered.

At Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy we pride ourselves on giving top-notch customer service through every interaction we have with our patients and other medical professionals. We are building an organization with employees who have a passion for providing superior customer service and who work hard to make a difference not only in our patients' lives, but also in our community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • works hard as part of a team or by themselves;
  • has great attention to detail;
  • is friendly;
  • can meet expectations for excellent customer service;
  • can adapt to changes in facility needs;
  • can work up to 40 hours per week, including one Saturday a month and the possibility of one or two evenings per week.

Responsibilities:

  • First and foremost, provide EXCELLENT customer service to our patients.
  • Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
  • Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
  • Process prescriptions using computer software
  • Label and record dosage information
  • Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
  • Answer phone calls directed to the store
  • Handle monetary transactions
  • Assist customers in the store and over the phone

Pay Rate:

Starting at $14/hr, with pay bumps available as you learn more within the pharmacy. Higher starting pay available if you have previous pharmacy experience.



  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience within the last six years, with two or more years preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
