Position Overview:

BHI Energy is seeking a skilled Metrology Specialist to join our team, focusing on precision measurement and quality assurance within the nuclear sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) with a strong understanding of metrology principles.
  • Support Metrology Designers by acquiring field data and assisting in various measurement tasks.
  • Develop expertise in specific CMM tools and learn to create 3D models from point cloud data.
  • Assist in estimating project requirements based on CMM tool specifications.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience operating CMM equipment, preferably in a nuclear environment.
  • Experience supporting a metrology team is essential.
  • A relevant college degree may substitute for experience.
  • Entry-level candidates with a 4-year degree in a non-STEM field or a 2-year degree in engineering or design are encouraged to apply.
