Dymentum Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at the Western New York Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WNY VAMC). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to our patients, including inpatient and outpatient care.
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic and evaluation services to patients in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting.
- Conduct assessments, examinations, and treatment plans for patients.
- Order diagnostic tests and recommend patients for hospital admission as needed.
- Document patient encounters in the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS).
- Diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric patients according to current standards of care.
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association.
- Valid medical license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Current and valid copy of medical license(s) or a current search conducted no earlier than 5 days of quote submission of the state's website.
- Immunization for measles, mumps, and rubella or a rubella titer of 1.8 or greater.
- Generic self-study training for OSHA Regulation concerning Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for Federal Holidays. Shifts will be assigned based on the needs of the WNY VAMC.
