Role Responsibilities

The Instrumental Music Educator is responsible for guiding students through their musical journey, fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere where they can thrive. The educator will ensure that each student receives a comprehensive and inspiring music education experience.

Key Duties
  • Music Instruction: Deliver high-quality music lessons, focusing on fundamental skills rather than just song memorization.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and document thoughtful lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Remote Learning: Conduct online lessons effectively using our remote teaching platform.
Community Engagement
  • Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
  • Visibility: Be accessible and present within the educational environment to foster relationships with students and parents.
  • Program Support: Assist with rehearsals and contribute to the overall execution of the music program.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in music education or professional performance.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and curriculum development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and families.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
