About the Role:

The USA Clinics Group is seeking a highly skilled Medical Referral Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Referral Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the coordination and processing of patient referrals for specialist office services in a high-volume practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact Primary Care Physician offices to obtain system-generated referrals via phone or fax.
  • Review all referrals for eligibility, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Track and manage HMO referrals by entering them into the computer system.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and their Primary Care Physicians to retrieve on-time referrals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with three or more years of medical referral authorization experience in healthcare, highly preferred.
  • Experience with Referral Processing for HMO, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and EMR experience, preferred.
