Job Overview

MV Transportation is on the lookout for a dedicated Trip Coordinator to manage trip bookings from eligible riders, ensuring all essential information is gathered to facilitate efficient scheduling.



Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving calls from passengers and accurately collecting trip details for scheduling.
  • Providing comprehensive information about our services to current, new, and prospective passengers.
  • Entering passenger data and specific trip requests into the system, negotiating times when necessary.
  • Conducting follow-up calls to passengers regarding schedule changes or other inquiries.
  • Communicating cancellations promptly to relevant scheduling and dispatch teams.
  • Keeping passenger records updated in the customer database, including status changes and contact information.
  • Ensuring a safe and organized work environment to minimize risks.
  • Maintaining precise records and filing systems.
  • Collaborating effectively with operations staff to address scheduling or passenger concerns.
  • Managing multiple tasks efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Exhibiting a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Demonstrating reliability in attendance and teamwork.


Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with paratransit scheduling software, particularly Trapeze PASS, is preferred.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Proven track record of excellent attendance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in telephone communication or call center operations.
  • Proficient computer skills.
