Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team in Monroe, WI.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to prepare detailed mechanical drawings, modify existing drawings, and support the design of components or other elements for a product or production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed models and drawings, including technical layout, multiple views, bills of materials, O&M manuals, and assembly drawings.
  • Understand and use computer design systems, including AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Interface with internal staff, customers, and vendors regarding technical issues related to parts, design, usage, specifications, etc.
  • Support manufacturing teams with design capabilities and supply technical advice and counsel to other departments.
Requirements
  • Degree or certificate in a technical field required.
  • Up to 8 years of experience in a similar position required.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design standards, including GD&T, required.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor and Autodesk Vault required.
  • Strong working knowledge of an ERP system preferred.
