About the Role

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team in Monroe, WI. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings, modifying existing designs, and supporting the development of components or other elements for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed models and drawings, including technical layouts, multiple views, bills of materials, and assembly drawings.
  • Utilize computer design systems, including AutoCAD Inventor, to create and modify designs.
  • Interface with internal staff, customers, and vendors regarding technical issues related to parts, design, usage, and specifications.
  • Support manufacturing teams with design capabilities and provide technical advice and counsel to other departments.
Requirements
  • Degree or certificate in a technical field is required.
  • Up to 8 years of experience in a similar position is required.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design standards, including GD&T, is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor and Autodesk Vault is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of an ERP system is preferred.
