Position Overview

We are in search of a Field Service Technician who can enhance customer experiences and improve operational efficiency through routine maintenance of Canon-supported products, adhering to established Service and Parts Standards.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting product failure trends and serviceability challenges to your supervisor, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Meeting customer expectations by delivering efficient, responsive, and precise maintenance services, whether in the field, shop, or on-site.
  • Maintaining all technical documentation, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned to you.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring the optimal performance of assigned equipment.
  • Contributing to the achievement of branch/district performance metrics.
Qualifications: Skills & Experience

Please be aware that this is a customer-facing position and may require compliance with customer policies, including health and safety protocols.

Do you possess the following qualifications?

A High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.

A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to successfully complete the introductory training period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) course.

Willingness to travel (a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary).

Ability to obtain necessary security clearances required by customers to access their premises.

Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds and be active for more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
