Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Manager to join our team at New Balance. As a key member of our Finance organization, you will be responsible for coordinating the Value Chain Finance Team to deliver financial executables timely and effectively. This role will also drive process improvement initiatives through the development of the MS D365 ERP out-of-the-box system functionality and Oracle Cloud EPM.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the VCF team to meet all financial deliverables, including month-end, causals, forecast, R&Os, budget, audit, reporting, and more.
  • Assist Finance personnel in evaluating existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement within operational control areas.
  • Analyze, target, and prioritize initiatives and projects.
  • Drive project management initiatives with a lean process improvement focus.
  • Coordinate and manage procedural documentation for Finance Operations process flows.
  • Support Value Chain improvement projects and participate in cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Work with the Finance Director - Global Value Chain to develop policies and processes in support of a control environment.
  • Proactively seek process improvements to streamline activities and workflow.
  • Support Finance departmental activities as needed.
Requirements for Success:
  • MBA preferred with 10 years of progressive experience in a financial operations environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability with sound problem-solving skills and process orientation.
  • Project management skills are highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of ERP functionality is necessary.
  • MS D365 and Oracle EPM experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of operating management.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate compromise for collective benefit.
  • Advanced technical skills in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are needed, with experience in BI tools a bonus.
  • Some travel may be required.
