Hospital for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a supervisor for our Behavioral Health Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards of care and hospital policy.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of patient care on the Behavioral Health Unit
- Assist in developing and implementing unit policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state and regulatory standards and patient rights standards
- Evaluate program effectiveness and formulate plans for improvement
- Assist in developing staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs
- Coordinate the process for determining and maintaining accurate legal processes for patients
- Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit
- Coordinate, maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management
- Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility
- Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMA, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements
- Competitive hourly rate: $45 - $55
