Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Supervisor for our Behavioral Health Unit. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards of care and hospital policy.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the delivery of patient care on the Behavioral Health Unit
  • Assist in developing and implementing unit policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state and regulatory standards and patient rights standards
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and formulate plans for improvement
  • Assist in developing staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs
  • Coordinate the process for determining and maintaining accurate legal processes for patients
  • Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility
  • Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMA, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements
