About the Role

Hospital for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts.

This is a full-time/part-time role, and the expected compensation range for this position is $36 - $45 hourly.

We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescribe, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the health team.
  • Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
  • Verify the accuracy of patient records and intervene based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
  • Provide education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations.
  • Act as the patient's advocate and assure that patient rights are upheld.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
  • CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment.
