Job Summary

Hospital for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts. As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescribe, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the healthcare team.
  • Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
  • Verify the accuracy of patient records and intervene based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
  • Provide education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations.
  • Act as the patient's advocate and ensure that patient rights are upheld.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
