Position Responsibilities

In this role, you will engage in the design of innovative, world-class projects utilizing cutting-edge technologies. This hands-on design position within the Facilities Market Sector will encompass projects related to facilities, site, and roadway enhancements. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and energetic individual eager to advance their career while gaining invaluable experience across a diverse range of projects.

  • Utilize the Autodesk Civil 3D platform to create site drawings and models for civil site enhancements, roadways, and utility infrastructure.
  • Draft construction plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections at various locations.
  • Prepare design calculations, comprehensive reports, and project presentations.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, actively collaborating with team members and clients to address technical challenges.
  • Monitor work progress within established scopes and timelines, notifying project managers of any potential issues.
  • Produce clear and concise written communications and engage in client and team meetings.
  • Conduct research and assist in proposal writing to secure new projects.
  • Support other market sectors on design initiatives as workload permits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training designation with the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer license.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
  • Strong command of software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience in preparing plans and design calculations for transportation, utility, and site improvements.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and capable of undertaking new tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professional work ethic.
