Specimen Processing Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specimen Processing Specialist to join our team at Mindlance. As a key member of our Specimen Processing Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient processing and delivery of specimens to our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed, meeting productivity standards
- Process and prepare specimens for testing, including centrifugation and aliquoting
- Operate laboratory equipment, such as imaging and microfilming machines
- Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to quality and safety standards, including good safety habits and compliance with regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical background or laboratory experience preferred
- Basic understanding of computers and laboratory testing principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to change
