Role Summary

We are on the lookout for a proactive and creative individual who enjoys engaging with a diverse clientele and making a significant impact. As a Client Services Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional e-procurement services and expertise to our government clients involved in purchasing and construction bidding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become an expert in PlanetBids products and their application to client needs.
  • Address unexpected client challenges effectively, knowing when to escalate issues to team members or leadership.
  • Collaborate with teams to generate innovative ideas and fresh perspectives for client interactions.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to build rapport and present solutions to client challenges.
  • Manage incoming calls and support tickets, providing professional and friendly customer service.
  • Assist potential customers by addressing inquiries about our products and services.
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions within our support ticketing system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with client accounts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new clients.
  • Participate in events and conferences as required.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs and RFIs, including attending pre-bid meetings and drafting proposals.
  • Contribute to company marketing materials and updates.
  • Support Sales and Marketing departments as needed.
  • Conduct market surveys and data analysis, providing insightful reports.
  • Engage in new product testing and other assigned projects.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate's Degree in business administration or a related field being advantageous. A minimum of five years of experience in public procurement is required.

Proficiency in Internet browsers, MS Office Suite, and Google Suite is essential. Familiarity with PlanetBids or e-Procurement systems, as well as Office 365 and HubSpot, is highly desirable.

Strong phone presence, interpersonal skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication abilities are critical. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside effective time management capabilities.

A dedicated and secure remote workspace is necessary to ensure focus and minimal interruptions. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment is required.
