Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services using various modalities, including neurovascular and endovascular angiography examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teams to collect data pre/post-procedure and prepare patients for procedures in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (CVIR).
  • Safely and competently operate all radiographic, processing, and inventory equipment in CVIR.
  • Act as a Liaison between physician, family, and other interdepartmental units.
  • Participate with teams in unit assignment quality assurance projects.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography; Associate or higher degree preferred.
  • ARRT registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional(CI) required.
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
