Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that client sourcing activities comply with various regulations and certifications (such as REACH, CTPAT, HTS, CM, BCP, RR, COO, IMO, among others) and adhere to client processes. MCPC resources will assist in gathering the necessary supplier responses to confirm compliance with these regulations and requirements. This includes verifying accurate supplier contact details, addressing any inquiries from suppliers, reviewing and approving supplier responses for compliance, and reaching out to suppliers who have not responded. It is essential to communicate with the Sourcing Compliance Leader regarding any supplier responses that necessitate escalation to Legal Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collect part lists and supplier information for each survey outlined in the compliance requirements.

2. Scrutinize lists for accuracy and completeness, ensuring correct email addresses and part details.

3. Follow up with non-responsive suppliers via phone and email.

4. Upload lists into the Sourcing Compliance tool using Excel templates or ERP Import systems.

5. Create and distribute surveys (via email) to suppliers for each listed requirement and any additional regulations that may arise.

6. Monitor responses to each survey, addressing supplier questions or concerns, and uploading documentation provided by suppliers.

7. If a supplier cannot confirm compliance, escalate the issue according to established procedures.

8. Verify HTS Codes by collaborating with suppliers to obtain necessary information for HTS code assignments, running reports, and entering data into third-party systems.

9. Correct COO data by entering accurate information into the ERP system.

10. Engage in additional projects or assignments as directed by the Compliance Leader.

11. Conduct Legal Entity Verifications during the onboarding process using the ERP tool.

Qualifications

1. Proficient in computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Access.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

3. Demonstrated skills in prioritization and problem-solving.

4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

5. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain administrative role.

6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel, with at least 2 years of demonstrated experience.

7. Effective and professional communication skills with both internal teams and suppliers.
