About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our US Consumer Services Control Management Process Risk Reduction team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring control management is embedded in our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate alignment of risk reduction initiatives with our overall risk management framework and business objectives.
  • Identify process risk issues and mitigation strategies.
  • Support identification and prioritization of areas within BU processes that require risk reduction measures.
  • Execute on process risk reduction, leveraging enterprise support as needed to ensure timely resolution of vertical and horizontal issues.
  • Assist in conducting independent root cause analyses focused on identifying underlying process vulnerabilities to prevent potential Operational Risks.
  • Document control design effectiveness.
  • Monitor and track the implementation of process changes, ensuring they are effective in reducing risk and align with our risk appetite.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and ongoing improvement within the team and the broader organization.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in operational risk management, including understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities.
  • Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: process risk reduction, root cause analysis, or operational risk management.
