Job Overview

Position: Operations Management Associate at Marriott International

ROLE SUMMARY
  • Bonus Eligible
Accountable for managing all operational elements to guarantee elevated levels of guest satisfaction, employee engagement, financial success, and revenue enhancement. Works in partnership with the General Manager to formulate and implement property-wide strategies that align with brand standards. Cultivates relationships with key clients and actively engages in sales initiatives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or similar roles.

OR

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or similar roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations and Financial Management

• Ensure compliance with brand standards across all departments.

• Supervise team members to meet brand expectations.

• Effectively manage all property departments.

• Uphold Fair Treatment and Open Door policies.

• Implement and maintain key control protocols.

• Ensure adherence to licensing requirements and safety regulations.

• Oversee financial functions and activities, including accounts, payroll, and audits.

• Analyze financial and performance data to inform decision-making.

• Support team in scheduling and staff management.

• Conduct Quality audits in accordance with company standards.

Team Leadership and Development

• Proactively support and mentor employees.

• Lead by example and establish performance expectations.

• Provide coaching and feedback to supervisors.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Enhancing Guest Experience

• Ensure outstanding customer service standards.

• Inspire staff to effectively address guest concerns.

• Anticipate and respond to evolving guest needs.

• Assist employees in exceeding guest expectations.

Human Resources Duties

• Ensure comprehensive orientation for new team members.

• Address employee concerns promptly and effectively.

• Promote diversity and inclusivity in hiring practices.

Other duties as required.

Salary Range: $63,000 to $78,000 annually. Additionally, enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off, and more.
