Business Development Manager Animal Nutrition

As a Business Development Manager at Eastman, you will play a key role in driving growth and innovation in the animal nutrition industry. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies for our advanced animal nutrition solutions within your defined territory.
You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. This will involve creating value for Eastman Animal Nutrition through a project-oriented account management approach, driving new business opportunities at an individual account level, and showcasing the value add of our technically sophisticated feed additive solutions.
You will be responsible for specifying and qualifying solutions, including successful testing and implementation, and establishing their continuous use. This will involve collaborating with customers, internal teams, and sales personnel to ensure seamless execution and growth of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge and commercial aptitude of the animal nutrition industry, specifically in monogastric. They will also have a proven track record of technical sales experience in animal nutrition, with a focus on the swine industry, feed or feed additives, and a network of contacts into feed producers and the nutritionist and veterinarian community.
Key responsibilities will include commanding a thorough understanding of Eastman's segment strategy, engaging potential customers through a project-oriented account management approach, articulating and maximizing current and addressable Eastman market share within accounts, and developing strong trust and credibility with key players impacting the customer's buying process.
Collaboration with internal teams, such as ADTS and product management, will be essential to ensure opportunities are provided with the required resources to ensure timely funnel movement. The role will also involve approximately 50%+ travel.
