Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Intern to join our team at Van Meter. As a Sales Support Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our corporate operations, including customer pricing strategy, vendor cost analysis, sales and inventory performance trending, product launches or additions, and vendor data integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review operational metrics to analyze performance, trends, and impact of product lines to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement key initiatives and drive business growth.
  • Assist in daily pricing, purchasing, and inventory activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Analyze product line data integrity to close gaps and improve overall completeness of information.
  • Coordinate product launches, inventory additions, or conversions to ensure successful execution.

  • Demonstrate leadership potential and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Display excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a cooperative attitude with a team-oriented disposition.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and commit to a set work schedule.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
