Position Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and committed Compensation and Benefits Specialist to enhance our operations at The Center for Discovery. This position is crucial for managing enrollment records and filing systems, liaising with external agencies and vendors, as well as conducting data analysis, benefits audits, and renewals.

Key Responsibilities:
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will:
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, forms, and charts to manage confidential information.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations regarding employee benefits.
  • Oversee benefit enrollment processes and track employee leave.
  • Manage billing and census reporting effectively.
  • Conduct thorough benefits audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide analytical support on employee injuries and Workers' Compensation data.
  • Engage in professional interactions across various levels of the organization.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in a benefits or human resources environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with HRIS systems like ADP, Kronos, or UKG is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and employee benefit programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with other departments and work as part of a team.
