Position Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and committed Compensation and Benefits Specialist to contribute to our operations at The Center for Discovery. This position is responsible for managing enrollment information and documentation systems, liaising with external partners and service providers, as well as conducting data analysis, benefits evaluations, and renewals.

Key Responsibilities:
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will:
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, forms, and visual data representations.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure adherence to state regulations.
  • Oversee benefit enrollment processes and manage leave tracking and billing.
  • Prepare census reports and conduct benefits evaluations.
  • Analyze data related to employee injuries and Workers' Compensation.
  • Engage professionally with all levels of the organization and assist with various projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in a benefits or human resources setting.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with HRIS systems like ADP, Kronos, or UKG is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and employee benefit schemes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with other departments and work as part of a team.
