Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage diverse HR plans and policies for all personnel.
  • Contribute to the establishment of departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Oversee the performance evaluation framework and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the employee handbook and policy manuals.
  • Manage benefits administration, including claims resolution, reporting changes, approving invoices, and communicating benefits to staff.
  • Support employee relations through counseling, outplacement services, coaching, and exit interviews.
  • Analyze job roles; draft job descriptions, ensuring accurate FLSA classification and salary grading.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing needs.
  • Conduct searches for qualified candidates based on relevant criteria using various recruitment resources.
  • Screen applicants and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Perform reference checks for candidates.
  • Oversee pre-employment processes, including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires to promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Ensure the accuracy of personnel records and employee information in the HRIS.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple entities.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and retirement plans.
  • Verify employee enrollments with HR vendors and plan carriers.
  • Respond to employment verification requests.
  • Engage in other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A bachelor's degree with three to five years of HR experience, or a master's degree in Human Resource Management with two years of HR experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
Compensation ranges from $56,000 to $75,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
