Position: Strategic Communications & Public Affairs SpecialistWe are in search of a proficient Strategic Communications & Public Affairs Specialist to enhance our operations. This position entails collaborating with senior leadership and various stakeholders to devise and execute strategic communication initiatives for critical projects.
Key Responsibilities- Champion communication program needs at all organizational levels
- Establish standardized communication methodologies to maintain uniformity
- Encourage teamwork among different departments to exchange best practices
- Articulate technical requirements to essential stakeholders
- Assist in addressing any challenges that may surface
- Contribute to the creation of program presentations
- Offer insights on policy and implementation strategies
- Oversee communication projects and initiatives across various divisions
- Ensure seamless information dissemination within the organization
- Facilitate training sessions and webinars
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of three years in communications or project management
- Familiarity with DMLSS-FM module or LogiCole development
- Comprehension of DoD operations and military command frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Possession of an active favorable NACI clearance
- Experience with LogiCole
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Strong financial management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Previous experience in DoD healthcare support
- Understanding of NFPA codes relevant to Healthcare
