Job Summary

Tower Health is seeking a highly skilled Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our team at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. As a key member of our Child Protection Program, you will provide comprehensive medical evaluations for suspected victims of abuse and work closely with local investigators to ensure timely communication of medical findings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned program that provides exceptional care to children from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and around the world. As a Child Abuse Pediatrician, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, nurses, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care to children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical evaluations for suspected victims of abuse
  • Work closely with local investigators to ensure timely communication of medical findings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and families
Requirements
  • BC/BE in Child Abuse Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics
  • BC in Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric residency
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Child Abuse Pediatric Fellowship
  • Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA
