Job Summary

The IT Assistant is responsible for maintaining the hardware and software of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, ensuring the computing and communication environment is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Assist all property departments in computing matters.
  • Plan and set targets for problem resolutions.
  • Maintain best practices for policies and procedures for each user group.
  • Coordinate technical guidance to users in accordance with business process needs.
  • Assist in developing business process modifications and updates, including design and implementation.
  • Search for areas of improvement in existing systems and procedures with new software and hardware.
  • Prepare and/or help in preparing user operational manuals, including checklists and procedures to be followed by users.
  • Control, review, and evaluate existing configuration.
  • Administer and maintain the use of all cell phones and LAN phones throughout the organization.
  • Attend training courses to update/maintain technical competency for systems used in the business.
  • Keep work environment clean and proper at all times.
  • Ensure confidentiality in all matters related to activity.
  • Carry out other duties delegated by the IT Manager, Corporate Director of Information Systems, or Executive Members.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure standards are maintained at a superior level daily.
  • Coordinate with Vendors for Support Issues with knowledge of Escalation Structure.
