Position Overview
Join DEFTEC Corporation as a vital member of our team, directly supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency within one of their Directorates. This role is essential in assisting with the execution of financial management functions and activities.

Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Management Analyst, you will:
1. Provide expert guidance and services that enhance proactive financial management initiatives.
2. Conduct comprehensive acquisition planning in alignment with DOD directives.
3. Define project scopes, prepare life cycle cost estimates encompassing all major components, and develop cost estimating and analysis methodologies.
4. Collect and evaluate programmatic data, normalize findings, and perform regression analysis to assess market conditions' impact on historical data.
5. Execute 'what-if' analyses on established cost models and databases.
6. Analyze schedules utilizing time-phasing techniques.
7. Apply foundational knowledge in statistics, mathematics, operations research, finance, and other quantitative methods.
8. Document cost estimates, including underlying assumptions and methodologies, and present findings to leadership and decision-makers.
9. Engage in a variety of acquisition, analytical, and advisory functions pertinent to the budgeting process.
10. Collaborate with program managers to develop spend plans that align with program schedules and targets.
11. Interpret and implement fiscal laws, policies, and directives related to acquisition strategies.
12. Identify potential financial issues and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
- Proficiency in U.S. government financial systems.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance.

Preferred:
- Experience with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense.
- Knowledge of ABM and DAI systems.
