We are currently looking for a full-time professional for the role of:

Senior FMS Logistics Specialist


Position Overview:

  • Leverage extensive knowledge in Security Assistance (SA), technology transfer, compliance with export/import regulations, risk management, and logistics support.
  • Assist in the upkeep and enhancement of program management documentation, financial oversight, and critical path modeling.
  • Maintain a valid U.S. passport and be prepared for travel to international locations.
  • Apply comprehensive acquisition management principles to support logistics activities for current and future FMS programs.
  • Facilitate the management of full life cycle logistics requirements, including procurement and support of systems and services.
  • Review and coordinate documentation and correspondence from various stakeholders for government evaluation and response.
  • Identify and document resource requirements across various functional areas, consolidating them into necessary programmatic plans and reports.
  • Provide support in risk assessment and management, ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines.
  • Participate in meetings and reviews, contributing to documentation and action items for effective communication and planning.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of essential documents related to foreign military sales, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Engage in the development of lifecycle management plans and cost estimates to support program strategy decisions.
  • Utilize specialized software tools to manage and analyze program schedules, ensuring alignment with government expectations.
  • Support the development of acquisition strategies and documentation, ensuring all requirements are met for successful program execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with various programs and stakeholders to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
  • Assist in the establishment of operational guidelines and processes to enhance FMS case management and execution.

Qualifications:

  • MA/MS degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the Department of Defense -OR-
  • BA/BS degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the Department of Defense -OR-
  • High School Diploma/GED with twenty (20) years of directly related experience, including eight (8) years in the Department of Defense.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the necessary level.
