We are currently in search of a full-time candidate for the role of:

Senior FMS Logistician


Position Overview:

  • Demonstrate and uphold extensive expertise in Security Assistance (SA), technology transfer, compliance with export/import regulations, risk management, program/project management, and logistics support.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of program management documentation, including standard operating procedures, financial management, and critical path models.
  • Maintain a valid U.S. passport and be prepared for travel to international locations.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of Information Assurance (IA), SA, and FMS management principles to support logistics activities for current and future programs.
  • Support the full life cycle of logistics requirements, including procurement and support of systems and services.
  • Review documentation and correspondence from various stakeholders and assist in coordinating responses with relevant authorities.
  • Identify and document functional data and resource requirements, consolidating them into necessary programmatic plans and reports.
  • Assist in risk assessment and management related to cost, schedule, and performance for acquisition programs.
  • Participate in various meetings, providing support in documentation and coordination of meeting outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of meeting minutes, action items, and program documentation.
  • Conduct material solution analyses leading to design reviews and assist in the creation of essential agreements and documentation.
  • Support strategic planning and scheduling documentation, ensuring effective reporting frameworks are in place.
  • Utilize scheduling software to maintain and analyze integrated program schedules.
  • Provide insights for contract strategies and assist in lifecycle cost estimates and program assessments.
  • Support the execution of compliance inspections and maintain necessary documentation for operational readiness.
  • Proficiently use FMS-specific software and Management Information Systems to produce essential reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • MA/MS degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the Department of Defense (DoD) -OR-
  • BA/BS degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the DoD -OR-
  • High School Diploma/GED with twenty (20) years of directly related experience, including eight (8) years in the DoD.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the necessary level.
