We are currently looking for a full-time professional for the role of:

Senior FMS Logistician


Position Overview:

  • Leverage extensive knowledge in Security Assistance (SA), technology transfer, compliance with export/import regulations, risk management, and logistics support.
  • Assist in the upkeep and revision of program management documentation, formulate standard operating procedures, and manage financial aspects while developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and critical path models.
  • Maintain a valid U.S. passport and be prepared for travel to international locations.
  • Implement a comprehensive range of acquisition program management practices to support ongoing and future FMS initiatives.
  • Contribute to the acquisition management of full life cycle logistics requirements, including procurement and support of systems and services.
  • Review and coordinate documentation from various stakeholders and international partners, ensuring proper responses are developed and implemented.
  • Identify and document functional data and resource needs, consolidating them into relevant programmatic plans and deliverables.
  • Provide insights into cost, schedule, and performance risk management, assisting in the collection of programmatic inputs from various program offices.
  • Participate in meetings and reviews, providing support for program and design evaluations, as well as logistics assessments.
  • Help develop and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and program documentation.
  • Conduct material solution analyses and assist in drafting key documents related to agreements and objectives.
  • Support strategic planning and scheduling, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Utilize scheduling software to maintain and analyze integrated program schedules.
  • Assist in the evaluation of proposed schedules and conduct risk assessments on program timelines.
  • Support the development of contract strategies and lifecycle sustainment plans.
  • Conduct analyses to inform program strategy and decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate the integration of documentation to ensure consistency with program strategies.
  • Assist in key acquisition events and reviews, ensuring alignment with capability requirements.
  • Support the integration of intelligence and infrastructure for comprehensive capabilities planning.
  • Assist in the development and execution of Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) and related documentation.
  • Contribute to the preparation and validation of data for various programmatic needs.
  • Utilize acquisition management initiatives to enhance commercial acquisitions and practices.
  • Support the maintenance of FMS-specific operating instructions and process models.

Qualifications:

  • MA/MS degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the Department of Defense (DoD) -OR-
  • BA/BS degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years in the DoD -OR-
  • High School Diploma/GED with twenty (20) years of directly related experience, including eight (8) years in the DoD.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
