At L&P Materials Manufacturing Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Attendant Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:The Attendant Technician will be responsible for operating two assemblers simultaneously to produce high-quality innerspring mattresses. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety: Understand and comply with all safety rules, OSHA regulations, and programs. Report any accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts immediately.
- Quality: Perform quality checks, document results, and identify non-conforming products or raw materials. Communicate with coaches and managers to address any issues.
- Production: Operate two assemblers simultaneously, learn and use touch screens to set up and make adjustments, and perform minor autonomous maintenance activities.
- General: Work with EOJ Trainers to acquire additional skills, maintain TPM Standards for cleanliness, and keep the work area clean and free of debris.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and programs, ISO9001, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use critical thinking skills, solve problems using Continuous Improvement tools and techniques, and elevate processes.
- Math and computer skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to manually load raw materials.
This is a weekend shift position, working from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday to Sunday.
