Role Summary: The Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM) is in search of a Technical Training Specialist to enhance our Training Center of Excellence (TCOE). This role is pivotal in ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Qualification, Certification, and Licensing initiatives at the FBM Strategic Weapons Facilities (SWF) and facilitate post-qualification training.
  • Provide comprehensive classroom and practical instruction to various levels of personnel within Lockheed Martin and our client organizations, focusing on Trident II D5 RES operations and additional topics as directed by TCOE leadership.
  • Design and update training materials to meet program specifications, including both instructor-led and online training formats.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure that all training requirements are accurately documented and monitored through Learning Management Systems, such as the Qualification/Certification Checklist Tracking (QCT) system.
  • Be adaptable to instruct across multiple locations and subjects as needed.
  • Engage independently with students, Lockheed Martin management, and client representatives at various FBM sites to address training needs effectively.
  • Execute all responsibilities in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as program safety and security protocols.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience in instructional roles.
  • Familiarity with SWF Post-DD250 Reentry Body Operations.
  • Ability to qualify under the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).
  • Must be a US Citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance; dual citizenship is not permitted.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master Training Specialist certification or equivalent credentials.
  • Experience in developing Web-Based Training.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems, particularly QCT.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Current participation in the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be US Citizens to be considered.

Work Environment: This role requires full-time onsite presence at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule: Lockheed Martin offers various flexible work schedules, including standard 40-hour weeks and condensed options, providing employees with additional time off in addition to paid time off benefits.
