Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the pre-sales phase to evaluate client requirements prior to implementation.
  • Develop strategic objectives tailored to each client account.
  • Participate in the requirements gathering process during project initiation and ongoing operations to ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Advocate for clients' current and future needs through effective partnerships.
  • Serve as a client representative internally to enhance visibility of client requirements.
  • Align activities with clients' business priorities.
  • Identify business opportunities that align with Portware's objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Support, Development, Sales, and Pre-Sales Engineering to facilitate efficient client implementations.
  • Partner with Support to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Inspire higher standards and results in team members.

Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in front office financial markets with a strong understanding of market structures across various asset classes.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple significant projects simultaneously.
  • Experience as a technical business analyst with a solid grasp of converting business needs into functional specifications.
  • Proficient in SQL, capable of crafting complex queries.
  • Direct experience collaborating with software engineers and Technical Architects on business requirements.
  • Background in securities trading, preferably in FX or Fixed Income, with knowledge of other asset classes being advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the FIX protocol and its practical applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial markets and associated technologies.
  • Commitment to continuous learning from both successes and challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Logical, systematic, and practical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of EMS systems and their components, with OMS experience as a plus.
  • Ability to comprehend domain changes and their relevance to client systems.
  • Capability to operate at various levels of work, from operational to strategic.

Preferred Skills:
  • Previous coding experience (Java) is a plus.
