Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join our team at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. This is a full-time position working 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have two years of clinical experience and be certified as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).

About the Role

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice.
  • Work performed in accordance with physician orders.
  • Defined duties are performed in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations.

Requirements

We require a combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. A minimum of two years of clinical experience and certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) are necessary. Additionally, we require current American Heart Association (AHA) Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP), California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
