Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert nursing care to patients and families, while also participating in education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

About the Job

  • Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care, coordinate transitions, and facilitate communication among healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, adhere to regulatory requirements, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience; experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner a plus.
  • Current California RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification required.
  • ACLS certification may be required by specific units; please check with leadership for details.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $95-$115 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
