Job Summary:The Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) is responsible for providing respectful, resident-centered care and assistance to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They assist residents to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct personal cares for residents at their assessed level of function under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
- Accurately document cares provided, resident observations.
- Assist residents to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
- Assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
- Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation, and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
- Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
- Prior nursing experience preferred.
- Must be 16 years of age, or older.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.

We are blessed with a dedicated, compassionate staff of approximately 500, as well as hundreds of volunteers, members of the Friends of GA, and loyal donors.
