Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading our nursing staff to achieve exceptional outcomes.

About the Role
In this variable shift per diem position, you will oversee medical center operations on your shift of responsibility, working closely with the nurse in charge to ensure that patient care needs are met. You will assist nursing staff in delivering patient care, interpret and enforce standards, and make daily rounds to communicate with healthcare teams. Your expertise will be essential in crisis situations, helping to provide patient care while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for quality improvement, referring them to management when necessary, and contribute to department budget planning by allocating resources effectively. By staying up-to-date on best practices, you will help ensure that our department remains compliant with professional, regulatory, and medical center standards. Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of nurses, promoting their growth and competency through feedback, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of patient care by making sound decisions, resolving conflicts, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with managers and directors to implement strategies that improve patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and organizational performance.


Requirements
To succeed as a Nursing Supervisor at Swedish Health Services, you must possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, along with current licensure in Washington State. We encourage applicants with prior experience in nursing supervision or leadership roles, particularly those with expertise in case management or quality improvement. Compensation and Benefits
As a Nursing Supervisor at Swedish Health Services, you can expect a competitive salary range of $98,449 - $140,400 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
