Job Description


As a Commercial Engine Shop Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power generation equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Performing troubleshooting and repairs on engine-generators and associated accessory equipment
  • Conducting routine maintenance and overhauls of engine-generators as needed
  • Collaborating with the service office to plan and execute work orders efficiently
  • Assisting with the removal, transportation, and handling of large equipment as required
  • Providing outstanding customer service and assisting in preparing repair quotes


Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:



  • A minimum 2-year degree from an accredited Diesel Engine Technology Program or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical service work
  • PC skills with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • An outstanding positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools required for the job
  • The ability to respond quickly and accurately to signals and adjust controls with precision
  • A clean driving record with a valid driver's license
