About LifePath Inc.
LifePath Inc. is a social day program designed to provide safe, dynamic programming for older adults and individuals with dementia, as well as support to caregivers.

Job Description:
As a Program Engagement Assistant, you will work collaboratively with others to create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, assist with care needs, help plan and facilitate activities, and engage actively with participants throughout the day. This is a grant-funded position through March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Serve snacks and meals
- Lead group activities in an organized manner
- Actively engage participants throughout the day
- Observation and oversight of participants for their safety
- Assist participants as needed, including hands-on assistance with toileting and transfers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year experience working with older adults and people living with dementia or home health aide experience preferred
- Ability to interact with people who are living with dementia individually and in groups
- Good listening and engagement skills
- Comfort with providing some personal care assistance
- ServSafe Food Handler certification is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Understanding of group dynamics
- Enthusiastic about providing programs to older adults and those with dementia
- Ability to follow and respond to instruction
- Ability to work in a changing environment based on participant needs

Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:
The work is primarily indoors, with occasional outside functions. You must be able to tolerate heat and cold of seasonal changes and indoor temperatures.
