Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Enhance manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished-product and process capabilities, and establishing standards to confirm manufacturing processes.
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assist in the design and execution of prototypes and manufacturing process plans.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase performance of production, quality, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design and process changes.
  • Provide support in the development of health & safety procedures for the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the field of Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Proven experience in flow manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing techniques, construction methods, and industrial engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including CAD, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in all work processes.
